Helping With Hands, Serving With Heart
A Loving Heart has been serving the AZ community for over 19 years, and we are a unique organization. No one at A Loving Heart is compensated for their time, but we have the most dedicated, hardworking, and loving people you would ever meet. The type of people we serve is not geared towards one specific group, but to all of those in need. We believe that we are there to provide not only the tangible needs but the intangible needs as well. That means that we not only provide food, clothing, and other things, but we also provide an ear, a hug, a ride, resources, prayers, and love.
Supporting Lives Beyond Basic Needs
Those we serve include, but are not limited to, unsheltered elderly, veterans, and people with disabilities; families in need; and even families of the incarcerated and individuals who were released from prison. In addition, we work and serve with missions, group homes, transition homes, impoverished communities, and even animal shelters, etc. The bottom line is that we, at A Loving Heart, do our best to help all those in need, and of course, that is within our capacity. The way we serve these individuals varies in many ways.
Where Kindness Meets Action
The ways in which we serve the community would include, but not be limited to, delivering food/food boxes to families, doing outreach, and providing food boxes out of churches and other areas in the community. We go to different low-income apartment complexes around Maricopa County and other parts of Arizona as well. Some of the food even makes it to Mexico as well. A Loving Heart also partners with an animal rescue, so most of the food that is past human consumption is shared with them and not wasted.
Hope, Help, and Humanity for All
Another instance would be when we get prepared food, we will pack it up in bags or containers and deliver it to senior living communities. We also have a partner organization that provides 30-day housing while helping parents with children find a permanent place to live. Unfortunately, they are not provided with food; therefore, we also help these families when we get prepared food as well since they only have access to microwaves.

Measurable Impact, Meaningful Change
- Distributed over 100,000 pounds of food in 2025, not including drinks.
- Has participated in the Summer Heat Relief Program with the City of Phoenix and has passed out over 8000 bottles of water & drinks, not including the distribution of drinks during the remainder of the year.
- Has gone through and distributed over 40,000 pounds of clothes.
- Distributed many various items to all whom we serve (e.g., cleaning & household products, diapers, hygiene products, and many other items).
